Find the customer problem worth solving first.

Most businesses have more ideas than they can ship. What they lack is a clear read on which one their customers will pay for. That read is the work. A working first version is how we test it.

Who it’s for

Small businesses

Your website doesn’t bring in customers, or your offer doesn’t land. I look at how people find you, what they see, and what makes them book. Then we rebuild the part that is in the way.

Growing teams

Customers pay, and the product still creaks. I bring what I learned taking a two-sided ads marketplace from idea to launch at Kleinanzeigen: positioning, a roadmap, a first milestone the team can ship.

What you walk away with

Shaped around your situation. These are the usual stops:

  • Where you stand in your market, and where you could.
  • A plan with a first milestone you can agree to before anything gets built.
  • A working prototype you can put in front of customers.
  • A launch, with the analytics to see whether it works and where to take it next.

How it works

  1. Listen

A free 45-minute call. What does the business need, where do you meet your customers, and where do you see the gap?

  2. Analyse

Your market and your positioning, measured against where you want to be.

  3. Propose

A written proposal for a first milestone: scope, timing and cost. You decide before anything gets built.

  4. Prototype

A working version you can click through and react to.

  5. Launch

We fine-tune it together, agree on the scope and ship.

  6. Measure and scale

Analytics and tests show where it fits the market. We adjust, then scale in the directions that work.

On recent projects the first improvements showed within four weeks. How fast depends on the product.

Where this came from

Senior Product Manager · Retail Media

Kleinanzeigen

Rebuilt a 15-year-old ad system into a self-serve platform on web and app, and moved every advertiser across before the deadline. As interim Domain Lead I led three squads, up to 25 people.

The AI campaign analysis I built runs on 200+ campaigns every night and became the account managers’ daily tool.

Former client · product strategy

Faust AI

An early-stage AI startup. Product strategy and positioning: connecting what the technology can do with what customers will pay for.

Client · website and NFC platform

Glastrix

A Berlin UV print shop. One Next.js site replaced their WordPress site and a separate NFC app: services, gallery, enquiries and NFC business cards in one place.

Enquiries roughly quadrupled within three months, mostly from people who found Glastrix themselves.

Direct booking website

Seumi direct booking

A Berlin holiday apartment wanted guests to book direct instead of through Airbnb. Live Smoobu availability, Stripe payments and more than ten languages, without platform fees.

Five repeat guests have booked their next stay here directly, without platform fees.
